YellowScan designs and manufactures fully integrated LiDAR payloads for drones and manned platforms, purpose-built for professional 3D mapping in demanding environments. Each system brings together laser scanners, GNSS-IMU positioning, onboard computing, power, and storage into a compact, UAV-ready package that’s been field-tested across surveying, forestry, mining, civil engineering, corridor mapping, archaeology, and topo-bathymetric missions. Products like the Surveyor Ultra and Navigator are engineered for reliability where conditions aren’t controlled, while YellowScan’s CloudStation software suite supports everything from initial data inspection to advanced processing, classification, and export. A free CloudStation Viewer makes it easy to explore datasets, with higher-tier editions unlocking automation and more sophisticated workflows as projects scale.

YellowScan operates primarily as a CapEx hardware business, with LiDAR systems purchased outright through direct sales and a global distributor network. Hardware sales are typically bundled with software licenses, training, calibration, warranty, and technical support as part of an initial deployment package. Over time, customers can renew or upgrade CloudStation software licenses and extend support and maintenance agreements, creating a recurring revenue layer tied to the installed base. While YellowScan does not retain ownership of deployed hardware or meter usage at the asset level, its pricing model blends upfront hardware purchases with renewable software and services that support long-term customer workflows.
