Company overview
WeatherCall continuously compares each protected site (a school campus, a multi-location business, a mobile-home community, an outdoor venue) to the National Weather Service's tornado, severe-thunderstorm, and flash-flood warning polygons, and pushes a notification the moment a warning touches that address. The notification arrives by phone call, SMS, and email simultaneously, layered so a facilities manager away from the desk, an HOA on-site staffer during off-hours, or a lifeguard who can't hear an alert over pool music all receive the warning through whichever channel reaches them first. The pure-software subscriptions cover most of the lineup: WeatherCall NexGen for individual subscribers, WeatherCall Enterprise for multi-location businesses, WeatherCall for Schools for districts that need staff alerted by building address, and HazardCall for HOA and community-wide deployments. The hardware product line wraps the same monitoring service in physical devices: the portable WeatherCall GPS unit follows the subscriber's location and pushes hyper-local alerts as they travel, and the HazardAlarm outdoor enclosure mounts on a pole at a campground, ballfield, pool, or work area and triggers an audible siren and a strobe-light warning when lightning or tornadoes enter the area.
WeatherCall packages each product as a recurring subscription, with hardware folded in where the deployment needs it. The pure-software tiers run from $11.95 to $17.95 per year depending on which warning layers are included, delivering the same notification engine across all tiers. The hardware tier sits on top: WeatherCall GPS is sold as a $99 one-time unit purchase plus $19.95 per month or $199 per year for the monitoring service, and HazardAlarm is quote-based for the outdoor strobe enclosure. The model is hybrid recurring: most revenue is annual software subscription, but the hardware product line creates a higher-margin slice and a stickier customer relationship.
