Company overview

UpTime Solutions sells industrial plants a way to know which motor, pump, or gearbox is going to fail before it does. The company installs a fleet of wireless sensors that bolt onto rotating equipment and listen for the ultrasonic, vibration, and temperature signatures of an impending failure, then feeds the readings into the UpCastCM cloud platform where in-house vibration analysts interpret the data and tell the maintenance team what’s wrong, on which asset, and how long they have to act. The sensor family (MistLX, MistEX, and the hybrid Brick-TS1X for integrating legacy wired instruments) is built for washdown and high-humidity environments, and the wireless backbone means a plant can instrument equipment without rewiring the floor. UpTime's field engineers handle installation, baseline calibration, and the diagnostic-model training on each customer's specific assets, so the deployment ships as a working reliability program rather than a box of sensors.

The commercial model is hybrid recurring: the customer buys the sensor fleet as a capital purchase and subscribes to UpCastCM for the diagnostic engine, dashboards, work-order integration, and the analyst team that monitors data 24/7. Deployments scale from a single-machine pilot to plant-wide programs covering thousands of assets across multiple buildings, with each program quoted against the asset count and the criticality of the equipment being monitored. The recurring layer grows naturally with the customer: as a plant expands its monitoring footprint, the same UpCastCM tenant takes on more sensors and more operator seats without a forklift upgrade. UpTime's engineers stay involved across the life of the deployment, which keeps the company on the diagnostic side of the customer relationship, not just the hardware side.
