Company overview
Sennos builds in-tank sensors that continuously read fermentation chemistry, with an AI platform that turns the live readings into predictions a brewmaster or process operator can act on. The flagship M3 in-tank sensor stack drops into a standard 1.5-inch sample port on a fermentation tank and streams gravity, pH, dissolved oxygen, pressure, temperature, conductivity, and ambient conditions to the cloud in real time. The Sennosystem platform sits above the sensor: SennosIQ converts the live telemetry into predictive forecasts of when fermentation will plateau or when batches are likely to drift, and the Sennoslink mobile and web app exposes alerts, historical curves, and benchmarking against the company's cross-customer fermentation database. Operators configure threshold alerts that fire when temperature drifts away from the recipe profile or when fermentation hangs, replacing manual dipstick gravity readings and visual checks with continuous instrumented telemetry. A separate Intelligent Fusion Module, unveiled at the 2026 Craft Brewers Conference, extends the sensor stack with additional measurement capabilities.
Sennos sells the M3 sensor stack as a hardware subscription, not as a CapEx purchase. The headline pricing is $149 per sensor per month, and the subscription includes the hardware itself, the SennosIQ analytics, firmware updates, and platform access; there is no setup fee. The customer does not own the sensor; Sennos retains ownership, and recurring revenue scales with the number of tanks the customer instruments rather than with one-time hardware revenue. The bundling model means a brewery is paying continuously for the data services and predictive analytics that depend on the sensor, not just for the sensor as an asset; switching off the subscription means losing the SennosIQ models, alerts, and benchmarking, which is the part of the system that actually changes brewing decisions.
"Breweries don't have spare capital to buy lab-grade sensors for every tank, but they can afford to subscribe per tank as they scale," says Jared Resnick, Founder and CEO at Sennos. "A monthly fee that includes the sensor, the firmware, the analytics, and the model updates lets a brewer instrument the production line as the business grows, without a capital approval for each new piece of hardware."
