Company overview

Paragon Robotics monitors temperature, environmental conditions, and inventory weight at customer sites, then routes the readings to a cloud platform where operators set alerts, run audits, and pull historical records. The hardware side covers two product families: the Halo line of sensors and data loggers for condition monitoring (temperatures, humidity, environmental variables in pharma cold storage, food storage, and regulated industrial spaces), and the WB-series of weight-based inventory scales for automated parts counting. The current WB lineup spans the WB5005 (500 gram capacity for high-resolution counting of lighter parts), the WB11200 (20 kilogram capacity for mid-weight inventory), and the WB20500 (50 kilogram capacity for bulk inventory and heavy-duty applications). Sensor and scale data streams up to the HaloCloud System, a web-based platform that handles remote login, real-time monitoring, configurable alerts, audit trails, and a unified view across deployed devices. Paragon Robotics also offers electronics manufacturing services and engineering design support, so the same internal team can build a custom monitoring or counting setup for a partner that doesn't fit the standard catalog.

Paragon Robotics's commercial model is hybrid recurring: the customer purchases the sensor or scale hardware up front, then pays ongoing for HaloCloud platform access and the company's turnkey deployment and support services that cover the United States and Canada. The HaloCloud subscription is the recurring layer that keeps the deployed devices reporting to the customer's dashboard across the life of the install; without it, the hardware loses its cloud back end. Paragon also runs an electronics manufacturing services arm for partners, project-managing and producing custom hardware to spec, which extends the revenue mix beyond catalog products and ties Paragon into long-term hardware programs at customer companies.
