Company overview
Naïo Technologies develops fully autonomous electric field robots designed to replace tractors and manual labor for repetitive, soil-intensive agricultural tasks. Its commercial lineup includes OZ for market gardening and specialty crops, TED for vineyards, JO for narrow vineyards and nurseries, and ORIO, a heavier-duty autonomous tool carrier for vegetables and young trees. Each robot drives itself using centimeter-accurate GPS, runs on electric drivetrains, and supports a wide ecosystem of mechanical implements for seeding, weeding, soil preparation, and canopy management. Software is a core part of the offering: autonomy, safety systems, task execution, and fleet monitoring are embedded directly into the machines, with planning and oversight handled through the Naïo Companion app.
Naïo operates a hardware-led, CapEx business model in which robots are sold outright through a global network of certified dealers. The autonomy software, navigation stack, and monitoring tools are bundled with the robot; and recurring revenue is generated through downstream channels, including maintenance and service contracts, replacement parts, compatible implements, training, and ongoing dealer support. While not a full hardware-as-a-service model, this structure creates durable post-sale revenue tied to robot utilization, upkeep, and expansion over time.
