Company overview

KINEXON builds the asset-mounted tags, wireless anchors, and cloud software that let an automotive or aerospace plant see every moving part on the shop floor in real time and turn that picture into automated actions. The KINEXON RTLS Mesh line covers most asset-tracking work with three plug-and-play hardware components: a battery-powered Mesh Tag that attaches to a tote, tool, or piece of work-in-progress; a wireless Mesh Anchor that mounts to a wall or column; and a Mesh Gateway that streams centimeter-accurate ultra-wideband position data to the cloud. KINEXON RTLS Pro is the wired sibling for plants that need higher update frequency for safety-critical assembly automation. KINEXON OS sits on top: a low-code platform that fuses position data from ultra-wideband, Bluetooth, RFID, and GPS into a digital twin, then triggers actions in SAP Digital Manufacturing, SAP Extended Warehouse Management, and other ERP and MES systems. KINEXON Fleet Manager orchestrates mobile robot fleets in the same operating layer using the VDA 5050 standard.

Customers deploy the ultra-wideband hardware (tags, anchors, gateways) into their plants and pay an ongoing subscription for KINEXON OS, where the actual automation, analytics, and SAP integration live. The model is hardware-as-a-service in its hardware-enabled-SaaS form: the hardware is the way data gets into the system, but the cloud platform is what production managers actually run their plants on. Fleet Manager, Order Tracking and Process Management, AMR and AGV orchestration, and KINEXON AI Assist are subscribed modules that scale with the number of plants, assets, and robots a customer is instrumenting.
